A registered professional civil engineer, Mr. Bill Malhotra immigrated to Canada 1971, where for six years he was employed as a consulting engineer with Robert Halsall and Associates. For the following nine years, Mr. Malhotra acted as the Chief Structural Engineer for the City of Ottawa, where he developed a strong understanding of the local development community.

Mr. Malhotra privately developed his first property in 1986, thus leading to the formation of Claridge Homes Group of Companies. Since its inception, Claridge Homes has grown into a thriving company supporting 150 full-time employees and has become a market leader in home building and high-rise property development.

In recognition of his influential work as a leading entrepreneur, Mr. Malhotra has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce Businessman of the Year in 2002, and Ottawa Life Magazine's "Top 50 People in the Capital."
